Amateur radio is quite a hobby to have.  From electronic kit building, to operating Moon Bounce, to nets to DX to paper chasing, amateur radio has something for everyone.

If you have not encountered the amateur radio hobby, why not start with a visit to the American Radio Relay League web site.  Look for a local club to help you get your first license.
