What does this say to you?

1 Corinthians 1:10 I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought.:


So!  There's to be no divisions among us.


How can the Church be one if there are so many autonomous branches?   


What shall we do?  If we are part of the Body of Christ as the various denominations claim to be, what shall we say about cooperation, unity, corporate worship, and the like?

Yet another Angry Atheist encounter

My friend, +Jason Horton, please know, like you, I am tolerant of other beliefs and non-beliefs. I have not degraded our conversation to name-calling, however.

I'm neither trying to convince you that you are right or wrong. I am discussing another issue, a way of seeing things, that it appears you have selected to omit.

Clearly, in the recent time, it would appear that Muslim suicide bombers have the majority. As for Christian suicide bombers, I don't have any in my circle of friends and neither do I keep bomb making material around my place.

While Wikipedia is not a scholarly source,http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_terrorism will help you with your war against Christianity. While I don't see a large quantity of suicide bombers listed there, I see disturbing reports of people behaving very un-Christlike.

Prior to this century, the record for suicide bombers was held by the Kamikaze of World War II.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kamikaze Clearly, they were not Muslim, Jewish, or Christian.

Verbiage such as "of your rubbish", "under the delusion", and "you are ignorant" will show the reader that you are not tolerant. You attempt to be insulting. If you define that as tolerant, you appear to have a strange definition of the word.http://bit.ly/vWi6AL 

"It is still considered acceptable to have a religion" in the USA as well. You are not my first encounter with an Angry Atheist.

You have all the more reason to bring legal action, if any of those events occurred in your life. Fortunately, I think you were not as aggrieved as you would lead readers to believe.

Since you admit that you are an atheist and I find some humor in the manner in which you chose to state the obvious, that does not absolve you from being civil. In other words, during this discourse, I have not attacked your scholarship or sincerity regarding the faith with which you hold your non-belief. This is particularly true when, as you write, "I don't know you".

Again, please accept my apologies for the offenses you have concluded I singularly have placed in your way. Clearly, the acts of which I am alleged to have committed where not what my Lord Jesus would have me to have done.
